It certainly ISN'T take out!!! My husband doesn't eat frozen pizza but he decided he wanted to try a DiGiorno since the commercial says it's like take-out. Well, I don't know where they are getting their take-out because IT IS NOT!!! Actually it was really BAD...he only ate a couple of pieces and couldn't eat any more. The canadian bacon was like shoe leather and there was so much sauce it was oozing out all over. The crust had a weird flavor. I normally like frozen pizza, even though I don't eat it very often, especially since the kids are grown and out of the house. There was not anything we liked about it, including the $5.75 price so I am giving it a big fat zero gold stars. If you don't agree with me, please let me know why...I would love a second opinion.

BURGER KING
I do love an occasional Burger King meal. From time to time it has been known to cause my stomach to hurt but the BK at the corner of Brookswood and Kiehl Ave. in Sherwood AR. has consistently produced GOOD food. Last week I ordered 2 small hamburgers (Not the Whopper) and large french fries. BK fries are some of the last good fast food fries around, in my opinion. The burgers were great...fresh and the fries HOT and crisp! Anyone on a budget would be happy, at only $4.16. I will give this meal 4 1/2 gold stars. Only because they didn't give me any ketchup after I had asked for some.Saturday, February 14, 2009
DIXIE CAFE REVIEW
It had been a while since our last visit to Dixie Cafe. I am a bigger fan than my hubbie but we went last night because it was my turn to pick the restaurant. I ordered grilled pork chops, fried okra and a baked potato. He ordered the chopped steak, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Everything was really good, especially the pork chops. We had only 2 complaints: The rolls and corn muffins were not very warm and my hubbie felt he didn't get quite enough food to eat. He said that is his main gripe with Dixie. The young waitress was very nice and kept checking on us. It's a good atmosphere, not too noisy and not too cold. I give them 3 1/2 gold stars.

RED ROBIN REVIEW
We had our first experience at Red Robin restaurants, in Prescott Arizona. My hubbie and I both ordered the BBQ sandwich with garlic fries (see picture at top of this blog), cole slaw and diet cokes. Everything was great and the service just as good. The waitress was quite pleasant and helpful, even giving us directions to where we were going after leaving. The whole place was clean and cheery, including the restrooms.
I give them 4 1/2 stars, (the fries had a little too much salt and garlic). I will definitely visit Red Robin again if I see one. (I have never seen one in Arkansas).

Best Wendy's
In 2006 we experienced the absolute best Wendy's food we have had since at least 1980. You know, way back when fast food restaurants actually were in the business of pleasing the customer. We were passing through Gallup New Mexico, 22 miles from the Arizona border on Interstate 40. It was lunch time and we stopped to get a hamburger and stretch our legs. No stale, dried up or tasteless meat from these people. Hot, fresh, full of flavor, the hot juice running out, but not too much. All the lettuce and tomatoes etc were fresh and not skimped on along with hot, crisp fries. If I lived there and ate there all the time, I would be so spoiled, I would die if I ever had to eat food from a Wendy's in Arkansas. 95% of all the hamburgers I get here almost seem like fake meat that has been sitting under a warmer. I thought Wendy's motto was, fresh off the grill. I say 95% because a couple of months ago, I actually got a very decent Wendy's burger that was quite good. Fresh, hot and juicy just like they are supposed to be. It was at the Wendy's in Sherwood Arkansas, Hwy. 107 almost to Kiehl Ave. It was not really at regular meal time so I guess they cooked it fresh when I ordered.
I will give Wendy's an overall rating of 3 stars because you can still get a good burger occasionally but their fries are just plain"yucky". I guess we can blame healthy eating advocates for changing the deep frying oils for that one.

Wendy's Review
Yesterday, I dropped by the Wendy's drive-thru window in Conway Arkansas. It was a little late for lunch, about 2:30 pm. (I had not had lunch yet) and decided to order a little something. I ordered a .99 cent double stack, no cheese, and a small chocolate shake. When I got to the window, I asked how much the shake was and she said $2.39 plus tax. I said "They are proud of those things aren't they"? She said "yeah, but they are hand-spun". I just kind-of laughed, since every milk shake you get at a restaurant is hand-spun on a rotary mixer. Funny! They have just decided to market that term to make us think we are getting something special, I guess. The first thing I noticed when she handed it to me was how watery it looked, BUT I didn't say anything. After I pulled away from the window, I took my first sip and almost choked. It had the weirdest flavor I have even tasted in a milk shake and it was extremely "bitter". I took a 2nd sip to make sure I just hadn't hit a bad patch and, the same. So, I made a loop back around and parked the car, got out and went inside. I told the young girl behind the counter that I wanted my money back because it was so bad. She held it up for the manager to see from the back of the prep area and I heard her say "Tell her I'm very sorry". She told me and just stood there with the shake in her hand. So, I said "OK, could I get my money back"? She said ok and went to get my cash. I'm not sure what happened but maybe whoever prepared it just put too much chocolate syrup in it. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy another shake from Wendy's. Now I am wondering if their Frosty's are still any good. I actually was never a fan of them in the first place. I will give this Wendy's a rating of 0, for the shake only. I DO NOT recommend trying one. The burger was ok and the employees were nice.

Customer Service And Other Reviews!!!
This site will be all my gripes and complaints of customer service and the like. It seems like this has become a big deal around my house lately. WHERE HAS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GONE??? If anyone can find it, please let me know so a I can go get some. Seems to not exist around me. Don't get me wrong, I am not really a pessimistic person, just a realist. If I happen across good service or products, I will definitely post about it. Hopefully this won't be all bad news. I might even start out with a good review (after my initial blahg here).
